Because during the daily usage of your computer, you often get the message that you need to update Adobe Flash Player. Adobe Flash Player enables you to play flash videos on web browsers like Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc. And you need to make the Flash update frequently. Adobe Flash has caused many web plug-in vulnerability problems in the past, you have to update it from now and then. Updating Adobe Flash Player can be an automated process.

I am using Ubuntu Linux. Chrome OS is a linux operating system. I am surprised you left out us Linux users. However being geeky I will try to solve it myself.
Thank-you,

Disable the WEB SCANNING (or the whole application if web scanning does not fix the problem) to solve the problem of youtube reporting: “Sorry the video is no longer available”

Worked perfectly. I had to install flash 10 twice, but it worked.
I restarted the computer after installing flash 10 the first time. Once it had re-booted, I still couldn’t view flash (video). I installed it once more, and it worked. Use this website for flash 10: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
Thanks,
-Dan.

This method was easy and did work like written. Remember to reboot or log off!
Adobe cs5 for mac free. However I am not pleased with the result. I don’t know if its flash player 10, or their fix for chrome to recognize the installed copy,But when I use youtube the video wants to buffer completly before it plays, then while its playing, that grey circle activity animation that normally rotates in the center of the video remains there flashing. It looks like its reporting the activity from keyframe to keyframe or something. The progress only makes it to the second dot then starts over, making it “flash” This sux im going back to the old method.

Its a manual workaround where you download a file (flash9.xpi?), change its extension to .zip extract 2 particular files and put them in your google chrome plugin directory (which you have to create) Reply
I haven’t watched that video, but I am familiar with the process. I also know the plugin directory is in a different location when installing with “Google Pack” Leave a Comment:Cancel

On Mac OS X, what is the location of the cache in which Flash videos played in Chrome are stored?

I have a feeling that you are looking to save the cached flash video to edit or whatever you want. https://clevertechnology242.weebly.com/blog/adobe-cc-for-mac.
If so, here is my answer: getting it from cache is almost impossible because chrome uses a unique database to store the cache and that is not readable in OS X (or Windows, Linux, etc). There are some tools that can read chrome's database but they don't work for video files (they are created to remove some particular files in the database for debugging purposes instead of saving the files from the database).
So instead of getting it from the cache, you should try to recompile the flash file. This requires extensive knowledge in action script - and a smart hacker's mind (some developers are very good at confusing hackers so you get the wrong idea). I can't cover it. Finally if you do get the video file's url, make sure you have the right tool to download it. You will need to fake your origin (browser, cookie, etc) most likely.
Alternatively, you can do a screen recording to get the video but the quality will not match from source file.
Lastly if you were looking for a video you watched but forgot where it is on the web (or removed), you are completely out of luck. There is no way to get it out. You have to find some senior engineer at Google who knows exactly how chrome read its database to help you (and likely such knowledge is a collaboration of a few engineers, so you must get the whole team on board). In this case it is actually as hard as hacking into DMV database to change your driving records.
Hope this helps.
